Global standards of beauty vary. In Korea, plastic surgery is common as well as skin whitening. From browsing a few stores in the Philippines, I noticed the trend has followed through and saw rows of skin whitening creams. Having spent close to six months in South Korea, I realize how attractive (and freeing to the eye) natural beauty is. Without whitening the skin, chiseling the jaw, slitting the eyelids and raising the nose bridge, a natural face is noticeable and strikingly the most unique and beautiful.
